Road maps you would buy better in Iceland. You have more completed and the much higher assurance that you purchase a map series, which is on a more current state than if you purchase it at home. You can buy maps and atlases-roads almost at every gas station in Iceland, partly also in tourist information or in bookstores.
A very good maps you get with the issue "Iceland Vegatlas" Ferðakort of the publisher. The atlas is kept at a scale of 1:200 000th The map is a topographic map and street, between Atlas. If you do not exactly an area accurate map on a specific hiking, it is sufficient that maps out plans for even small hikes.
On a turn over page format size 30 x 30 cm and 25 double pages you captured territorially Iceland. The maps identify all areas of the contour lines, and fords are located. For a careful storage of the atlas work, even a slipcase is included.
